2 additional COVID-19 deaths reported in Billings

BILLINGS — Two more people have died in Billings as a result of COVID-19.

The Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map showed three new deaths on Monday morning, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 32.

Two of the deaths occurred in Yellowstone County, according to a press release from RiverStone Health and are connected to the outbreak at the Canyon Creek Memory Care.

On Sunday, July 12, a woman in her 90s passed away in a Yellowstone County hospital. Also on Sunday, a woman in her 90s passed away at Canyon Creek. To protect the privacy of the women and their families,

RiverStone Health will not release further information about the deaths.

A total of seven COVID-19 related deaths have been associated with Canyon Creek Memory Care.

Big Horn County also reported a new death Sunday. A woman in her 70s who was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 died after being hospitalized.
