BOZEMAN — The Gallatin City-County Health Department (GCCHD) confirmed on Friday that three more residents have passed away from complications due to COVID-19.
Two people were female in their 90s who died at their respective residences in long-term care facilities the week of Jan. 24, and another female in her 70s who died at a hospital the week of Jan. 17.
GCCHD received the official death certificates that attributed these deaths to COVID-19.
“The Health Department sends our condolences to all of these women’s families and friends,” said Matt Kelley, Gallatin City-County Health Department Health Officer.
“We continue to administer the limited amount of vaccine doses we get allocated in Gallatin County each week. In order to safeguard our most vulnerable citizens, please continue social distancing, avoiding crowds, wearing face coverings, washing hands, and staying home when sick," Kelley continued.
The latest deaths make for a total of 51 COVID-related deaths in Gallatin County.

Out of respect for the families, no further details will be released.
