POLSON — A sixth COVID-19 related death has been confirmed in the Mission Valley.
Lake County Public Health reported the death late Thursday.
"The health department sends our deepest condolences to their family, friends, and loved ones," a social media post states.
The victim is described as being a male in his 70's. No further information is being released.
Lake County Public Health reported an additional 19 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday morning.
There have been a total of 679 cases to date, including 502 recoveries and six deaths. Six people are currently hospitalized.
