Confirmed Montana COVID-19 rises to 71

HELENA — The State of Montana has confirmed 71 positive COVID-19 cases in the state as of Thursday morning, up from Wednesday evening's total of 68.

According to the Montana Response COVID-19 case map , Lincoln County and Glacier County are reporting their first cases.

Two more cases are confirmed in Cascade County, bringing its total to five while Lewis and Clark County has confirmed another case bringing its total to four.

To date, there have been no deaths associated with COVID-19 in the state of Montana.

DPHHS did indicate on the map data that one person has been hospitalized. No further information was reported about the person's condition or identification.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the DPHHS public health lab in Helena has completed 2,193 tests for COVID-19.
