Confirmed MT COVID-19 cases rise; fifth death reported

HELENA — Gov. Steve Bullock announced the fifth death related to COVID-19 during a Tuesday afternoon press conference.

Earlier in the day, the Missoula City-County Health Department announced two more confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 14.

The State of Montana COVID-19 Tracking Map reported a total of 198 COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday afternoon.

Gov. Bullock has said Tuesday afternoon that 32 patients in Montana have recovered from the disease. State numbers also show that 15 patients have been hospitalized due to COVID-19.
