MISSOULA — A COVID-19 vaccine clinic has been scheduled for later this week in Frenchtown.

Partnership Health Center (PHC), in collaboration with the Missoula County COVID-19 Vaccine Coordination Team, will hold the drive-thru clinic at Frenchtown Pond State Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19.

PHC staff are currently contacting eligible patients to make appointments ahead of the clinic. Approximately 280 PHC patients eligible in Phase 1B who live in the Frenchtown area will receive the Pfizer vaccine at the clinic.

Partnership Health Center notes they have more than1,300 patients eligible in Phase 1b in the area.

“We are excited to continue partnering with the Missoula County COVID-19 Vaccine Coordination Team to provide vaccination clinics in rural areas of Missoula County,” said PHC spo0kesman Eric Halverson.

Vaccine doses in Missoula County and across the United States remain limited. Appointments for this clinic are being scheduled based on a tiered approach, as recommended by the Missoula City-County Board of Health.

Priority for appointment scheduling is being given to Phase 1B eligible patients with the highest risk profile for poor health outcomes from COVID-19.

PHC staff will contact patients who have received medical, dental or behavioral health care at any PHC facility on or after Jan.1, 2019, for vaccine scheduling when they are eligible and as supplies allow.

People are being asked not to contact PHC for COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
