Missoula County reports 32 additional COVID-19 cases

MISSOULA — The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) is reporting that 32 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since the Monday update.

The total number of cases now stands at 4,744 cases including 3,734 recoveries and 43 COVID-19 related deaths.

There are currently 967 active cases, down from the 1,062 reported in Monday.

A total of 43 of the currently active cases are associated with the University of Montana.

There are currently 34 active hospitalizations due to COVID-19, including 12 Missoula County residents.

The average of daily new cases per 100,000 has fallen from 61 reported on Monday to 59.

The MCCHD goal is to bring that number down to 25/100,000 people for two consecutive weeks or more.

The Missoula City-County Board of Health updated the local COVID-19 restrictions on Nov. 19.

Missoula County residents can call 406-258-INFO weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to discuss COVID-19 information.
