Missoula County reports 32 new COVID-19 cases

MISSOULA — The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) reports an additional 32 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since the Thursday update.

The number of active COVID-19 cases has fallen from 215 on Thursday to 210.

The number of confirmed cases in Missoula County stands at 7,627 including 7,339 recoveries and 78 deaths.

The number of COVID-19 related hospitalizations was not available in the Friday update.

The average of daily new cases per 100,000 has dipped from 29 on Thursday to 24.

The MCCHD goal is to bring that number down to 25/100,000 people for two consecutive weeks or more.

The Board of Health announced on Jan. 21 that there will be an easing of several of the COVID-19 restrictions in place for Missoula County.

Missoula County residents can call 406-258-INFO weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to discuss COVID-19 information.
