MISSOULA — Health officials are reporting additional confirmed COVID-19 cases in Missoula County.

The Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map shows an additional four cases are being reported as of the Monday morning update.

The Missoula City-County Health Department was reporting a cumulative positive case* total of 176 on Monday morning -- including three epi-linked cases**

The latest numbers show there are 58 active COVID-19 cases in Missoula County. To date, there have been 117 recoveries and one death.

Local health officials additionally report that one Missoula County resident is hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Missoula became the first major city in Montana to require the wearing of face coverings on Thursday.

Local officials have approved a rule that requires people over the age of 12 to wear face masks while inside in a public setting.
