Montana at 34 COVID-19 cases, more confirmed in Gallatin and Yellowstone counties

(CORRECTION: The Gallatin City-County Health Department said its press release incorrectly reported that the two new female patients are in their 60s. One is in her 50s, the other in her 70s.)

As of Sunday afternoon, Montana confirms 34 cases of COVID-19 in the state.

According to Montana's COVID-19 tracking map, there are new cases in:

  • Gallatin County: 2 more new cases bring its total to 10
  • Yellowstone County: The total has gone from 5 to 6

The Gallatin City-County Health Department confirms that two women who had exposure outside of Montana have tested positive. One is in her 50s, the other in her 70s.

They are currently isolated and in good condition.

According to the tracker map, the new case in Yellowstone County is a man in his 30s.

Several more cases were confirmed late last week in multiple new Montana counties, including Flathead , Ravalli , and Lewis and Clark County .

Gallatin County currently has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the state. Yellowstone County's total is the second-highest.
