There were 546 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Montana on Tuesday, and the statewide death toll since the pandemic began reached 1,065, according to data compiled by MTN News.
One of the COVID-19 related deaths confirmed on Tuesday was in Missoula County.
The number of active cases in the state is currently 4,698, according to MTN News, and there has been a cumulative total of 87,464 cases of the virus in Montana. Of the total cases, 81,701 have recovered.
There are currently 187 people hospitalized for treatment of the virus, and the cumulative number of hospitalizations is 3,883.
The number of tests performed in the state has reached 851,594, an increase of 6,155 during the previous 24-hour reporting period.
The numbers reported by MTN reflect the latest data from the Montana COVID website, along with supplemental data received from county health departments.
