POLSON — You can now add Polson to the list of school districts that will continue to use remote learning for the remainder of the academic year.
Polson Schools Superintendent Rex Weltz stated in a letter sent out to parents that the Polson School District Board of Trustees voted to extend the school closure on Wednesday afternoon.
The letter states that the “decision was reached after considerable discussion and deliberation and based on credible evidence from experts in various fields. Ultimately, the trustee’s decision was based on the safety of the students, families, and District employees.”
Weltz adds that school officials have begun discussions about reopening schools in the Fall.
