Ravalli County reports 4 additional COVID-19 cases

HAMILTON — An additional four confirmed COVID-19 cases are being reported in the Bitterroot.

Ravalli County Public Health reports they received four new cases on Tuesday and that there are currently has 22 active cases.

The first new case is a female in her 20s with symptoms and is travel related.

The second new case is a female in her 20s with symptoms and the case is likely due to community spread.

The third new case is a female in her 50s with symptoms. Ravalli County Public Health nurses are currently investigating the source of transmission, according to a news release.

The fourth new case is a male in his 50s with symptoms and is travel related.

Five active Ravalli County COVID-19 cases are currently hospitalized.

State health officials report a total of 149 confirmed COVID-19 cases to date with 129 recoveries and two deaths.

If someone has a known exposure to a person with COVID-19, the health department recommends self-quarantining and calling Ravalli County Public Health for further guidance.
