BUTTE – A Butte man had to be held down by several police officers during an outburst in District Court after receiving a long prison sentence.
James Wasson became irate after District Judge Kurt Krueger handed down a 35-year sentence to the Montana State Prison for several felony offenses.
Police eventually got the 30-year-old Wasson under control and was removed from the courtroom after swearing at the judge.
Wasson has a long history of drug-related offenses and probation violations.
