HELENA – A 28-year-old woman has been charged with two felony counts of assault on a peace officer.
Court documents say officers responded to a disorderly conduct report Saturday on the 2200 block of Gold Rush Avenue. Officers say when they arrived they found Kaelianna Ryan, refusing to leave the residence.
According to the police report, Ryan became combative as officers tried to restrain her, kicking an officer, causing her to fall backward, and hit her head on the pavement, as she was put into a patrol car.
Officers say Ryan became combative again as she was taken out of the police car, kicking an officer in the and chipping her tooth.
The judge released Ryan on her own recognizance.
