The three persons of interest that are suspected of shooting at a Montana Sheriff’s deputy have been apprehended in Idaho. They were taken into custody without incident Wednesday.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s officials say the shooting happened Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. when a deputy attempted a traffic stop on Interstate 15 near Montana City.
The suspect vehicle did not stop and multiple shots were fired at the deputy. The deputy was not injured.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s officials say they will update with any additional information as it becomes available.
