BILLINGS – Billings police officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle Sunday night that was partially submerged in the Yellowstone River.
They were dispatched to Coulson Park at 8:13 p.m. Sunday after a pickup truck was found partially submerged in the Yellowstone River at the boat dock.
No one was inside the truck and police determined it was stolen and abandoned.
According to the city’s crime mapping tool, 67 vehicle thefts have been reported to the Billings Police Department over the past four weeks.
