POLSON – Law enforcement in the Mission Valley was busy at work Monday bringing in four different people who were all in the possession of dangerous substances.

Lake County Sheriff Don Bell reports the sweep started with the arrest of Seth Williams, 28, of Polson who was found sleeping behind the wheel of his vehicle in the middle of a Ronan Street with enough meth to warrant intent to distribute charges.

Later Monday, law enforcement arrested Jordan Pluff, 25, also of Polson who was found with user amounts of suspected heroin and methamphetamine. He also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for absconding probation.

Law enforcement arrested Nigel Ernst, 38, of Charlo in a separate incident with assistance from the US Marshals Service and CSKT Tribal Police.

Ernst was being arrested due to a federal warrant but during the arrest law enforcement found 19.5 grams of heroin on him and will now face criminal possession and intent to distribute charges.

The fourth, and final, drug-related arrest came early Tuesday morning when police took David Martinez, 50, of Missoula into custody. He had had multiple outstanding arrest warrants and was absconding from probation.

In Martinez’s vehicle, law enforcement found what they believe to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, according to Sheriff Don Bell.
