BILLINGS – Billings police made an arrest at gunpoint on Grand Avenue late Tuesday morning.

Officers rushed a small Ford sedan after it stopped in the westbound lane of Grand Avenue in front of Senior High School at about 11:15 a.m.

Two females and one male exited the car with officers’ guns drawn. The male was the last to exit and appeared to be in the back seat car of the car.

The occupants were immediately handcuffed without further incident.

Officers were traveling east on Grand Avenue with their lights on before turning around to pursue west in the 400 block of Grand.

The two females who appear to be teenagers were later released at the scene by the police.

The male remained in custody. We will have more information on this developing story as it becomes available.
