BUTTE — Butte Central Catholic School has reported to law enforcement an allegation of sexual exploitation of minors involving a teacher at the high school.

Butte Central President Don People’s Jr. confirmed that the school learned of the allegation on July 22 and immediately reported it to Butte police.

The allegation was made in a civil suit filed in Butte District Court Monday by the parents of minor children against Butte Central High School, the Montana Catholic Conference, the Diocese of Helena and other parties.

The suit accuses Butte Central High School teacher Brad Kadrmas of sexual exploitation of minors. Brad Kadrmas has not been charged with any crime as of Tuesday.

Brad Kadrmas has been on administrative leave, after a criminal complaint was filed against his wife, Amy Kadrmas, in December 2019.

Amy Kadrmas is accused of providing marijuana to a student. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges and her case is pending.
