HAMILTON — A Florence man who pointed a gun at two utility workers this spring was recently found guilty by a jury

David Trenk, 73, is charged with two counts of felony assault with a weapon, and one count of misdemeanor assault.

Back in April, two workers were trimming trees near a power line on his property when Trenk pointed a loaded handgun at the men, with his finger on the trigger.

Trenk kicked one of the workers in the leg, and yelled at them to leave his property.

Trenk is currently awaiting sentencing.
