MISSOULA — A man has been charged for shoplifting from a Missoula grocery store and assaulting a store employee as he was trying to get away.

Missoula Police responded to a grocery store on 800 block of West Broadway Tuesday at 5:20 p.m. for a report of a physical disturbance.

Officers were informed that a shoplifting suspect, identified as 24-year-old Antonio Morena, was attempting to steal wine and assaulted an employee as he was trying to leave.

The grocery store manager tackled Morena to the ground.
