BILLINGS — A suspect was arrested Tuesday after authorities received a report of an attempted abduction in Lockwood followed by a dangerous pursuit on Interstate 94.
The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office said on social media that after the attempted abduction deputies learned the suspect was in a vehicle reported stolen in Billings. Deputies located the vehicle in Huntley and a chase ensued on I-94.
During the chase the suspect attempted to ram law enforcement vehicles and drove the wrong way on the interstate, the sheriff's office said.
Near the Pompeys Pillar exit, law enforcement was able to spike the tires of the fleeing vehicle and the suspect was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
The name of the suspect has not been released and further details were not immediately available.
