KALISPELL — Several vehicles were damaged as the result of a high speed chase through downtown Kalispell on Tuesday.
Police responded to reports of reckless driving in the area of Highway 93 Bypass and Foys Lake Road at around 10 a.m..
The suspect fled and continued to try and evade police even after stop sticks were deployed.
Officers were able to stop the vehicle and both suspects inside were arrested.
The driver was identified as James McAlpine and the passenger was ID'd as Julia Stinson.
Both are currently in the Flathead County jail.
