A woman has been charged after she allegedly was caught driving a stolen vehicle in Great Falls.
Court documents state that 911 Dispatch received a call on Dec. 18 from a person who was following a 2006 Chevy Equinox that had been reported stolen.
While officers were looking for her, they received a tip that she gone into a home on the 1700 block of 6th Avenue South.
A police officer went to the residence and found Beal. She was taken to a GFPD patrol vehicle and advised of her Miranda rights.
Court documents say that she admitted being in possession of the stolen Equinox and driving it while the 911 caller was behind her.
She then admitted she realized the vehicle was stolen based on the fact that the person was following.
She admitted to officers that she parked the Equinox and ran away, and told officers where they could find the keys to the vehicle.
Court documents state that at the time of this offense, Beal was out on release on her own recognizance for a probation revocation on a conviction for felony drug possession.
She also has violation of release conditions and violation of court orders on her criminal history. She was also convicted on a theft charge in June 2018.
