The Billings Police Department will hold a press conference late Wednesday morning.

The press release issued by Capt. Neil Lawrence states:

The press conference regarding the Officer Involved Shooting that occurred @ the Holiday Station (6 N & N 27th) will be held today, Wednesday, October 9th @ 11:00 AM.

Billings police officers cordoned off the Holiday Station convenience store at North 27th Street and Sixth Avenue North early Wednesday.

Shortly before 3 a.m. crime scene tape had been placed around the store. A man on a stretcher was placed into an ambulance.

A white pickup truck just outside the north entrance of the store appeared to have several bullet holes. A police patrol car appeared to have crashed into the rear of the truck.

Police did not provide any information at the scene.
