THOMPSON FALLS — Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks are investigating the death of a dead white-tailed buck in Thompson Falls.
According to FWP’s Facebook page, the buck was found dead near Thompson Falls Junior High School. The deer was shot and killed by one shot with an arrow.
A Montana game warden responded to the report of the deceased buck on Wednesday night, and he was able to salvage the meat and donate it to a local food bank.
