KALISPELL – A popular wintertime event at Rebecca Farm is being rescheduled because of a lack of snow.
Skijoring at Rebecca Farm 2019 has been reset to the weekend of March 2 and March 3. It was originally going to happen at the end of this month.
“As Montanans, we are all too familiar with the unpredictable nature of the weather,” said Skijoring at Rebecca Farm organizer Sarah Broussard.
“Unfortunately this winter there has been minimal snowfall to date, which means we are unable to build the thrilling course we had planned. However, we are still looking forward to bringing an exciting skijoring competition to the Flathead Valley later in the season.”
This winter’s competition will mark the second year that Rebecca Farm has hosted skijoring after an inaugural year which drew thousands of spectators.
