ST. REGIS — A forest fire is currently burning in the Four Mile drainage east of St. Regis, according to the Mineral County Sheriff's Office.
As of Thursday morning, the fire was reported as 4 acres.
Authorities are asking the public to stay away from the area and avoid unnecessary travel near the fire. Keeping roads clear allows firefighters and emergency personnel to safely access the scene.
