MISSOULA — There was a large law enforcement presence near the intersection of Orange Street and Pine Street in Missoula on Tuesday morning.
Missoula Police had the area by the intersection of Orange Street and Pine Street in Missoula barricaded off, and people were asked to avoid the area by Spruce Street, Owen Street, and McCormick Street while law enforcement conducts its operation.
A reporter on scene says it appears that law enforcement is attempting to serve a warrant at a nearby residence. The SWAT team was present in the area.
Law enforcement cleared the scene shortly after 10:00 a.m.
There is no official word yet on the nature of the incident, and we will provide updates as they become available.
