Authorities are investigating a one-vehicle crash west of Billings that left one person dead and a second person injured.
Emergency crews responded at about 1 p.m. to mile marker 8 on Molt Road for a crash involving a vehicle that struck a power pole.
Authorities at the scene said a female passenger died and the male driver was injured in the crash.
The Montana Department of Transportation said one lane is blocked due to emergency vehicles at the scene.
