MISSOULA — The 10th annual Winter BrewFest took over Caras Park in downtown Missoula on Saturday.
The Missoula Downtown Association and TrailWest Bank hosted the the festival which allowed people to test over 40 microbrews from 33 different breweries from all over Montana.
The event also featured a wine and mimosa bar as well as non alcoholic drinks for non-drinkers and designated drivers.
Andrew Cooke, a sales and distribution specialist for Conflux Brewing, says experiences like the BrewFest make it easier to show their different beers to different people.
"I think the best way to get out into the sales market, is to do things like this, meet customers, especially customers that wouldn't necessarily come into the brewery and things like that kind of put on display what we have to offer," said Cooke.
The Brewfest also had Think Twice DUI Prevention educate the event-goers about the difference between intoxication and Blood Alcohol Content (BAC).
