BUTTE - A new call center in Butte celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday morning.

The Oregon-based call center FCR held the ceremony outside its location in the Butte Plaza Mall where it opened operations earlier this year in the former JC Penney store.

The service center has more than 200 employees and is looking to hire more for the holiday season.

“I’m excited to be part of the mall and its revitalization. The hope is that this kicks off more stores and more companies to come in here. We provide jobs for 400 people by next spring, and so I think that's a captive audience,” said FCR Site Manager Stephanie Marshall.

People can apply for positions at the call center at the FCR website .
