DeSmet School District providing school online, meals

MISSOULA — On Monday, March 30.DeSmet School District will begin distance learning.

The week of March 23, teachers will reach out to their student(s) parents.

Parents are to reach out to the district so administration can know if you want breakfast and lunch delivered daily.

This week, the food bank is delivering food daily from the DeSmet kitchen to Futura trailer park.

Contact the district if you require food delivery and cannot pick it up at Futura.

The week of March 30, food will be delivered by bus routes.

You will need to call the school to let them know if you need this delivery. If you do not call, the school the bus may not stop.

The delivery schedule will be sent out Friday, March 27.

Teachers will not be available at this time; please contact them via school email.

One adult can enter the building to pick up supplies. No children may enter the building.

Student materials will be bagged and ready to go.

Notify the district in advance if you need a Chromebook and sign a contract at the office during pick up.

Chromebooks are available for grades 3-8.

Kinder and 1st grade pick up is Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

2nd and 3rd grade pick up is Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

4th 5th and 6th grade pick up is Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

7th and 8th grade pick up is Thursday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Families with more than one student may pick up for all students at once.
