KALISPELL — State wildlife officials are looking for your help in solving a case involving two deer that were illegally killed in Northwest Montana.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks reports that on the morning of Oct. 22, a state game warden began investigating two deer - a white-tailed fawn and a mule deer buck - that were left dead at the corner of Kuhns Road and Farm to Market Road between Whitefish and Kalispell.
Both animals were field dressed but no meat was taken. The antlers were removed from the mule deer buck.
