KALISPELL — State wildlife officials are looking for information after a bull elk was shot and found dead in Northwest Montana.
Montana Fish, Wildlife reports that the dead animal was found south of Columbia Falls between Montana Highway 206 and the Flathead River.
The bull elk was discovered in a field northwest of Sullivan Crossroad and Middle Road.
The animal was believed to be killed the night of Nov. 18 or the morning of Nov. 19, according to FWP.
