KALISPELL — Kalispell Fire responded to a call at 4:05 p.m. of a structure fire in a grain silo on 505 W. Center St. near downtown Kalispell.
Kalispell Fire Chief Dave Dedman told MTN News the fire is in a shack on top of a grain elevator approximately 80 feet off the ground.
Dedman said no injuries occurred and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fire officials are asking the public to avoid the area at this time. This story will be updated once more information becomes available.
