KALISPELL — The Northwest Montana Fair saw an increase in attendance this year.
Fairgrounds manager Mark Campbell says attendance was up by 1.6% and almost 80,000 people attended the annual event.
Campbell attributes the increase to the growing Flathead community and the various popular fair events.
Discounted ticket days for seniors and children had the highest attendance Campbell has seen.
Campbell told MTN News that the fair hopes to land another headlining entertainer for next year.
