WEST GLACIER — People have more time to weigh-in on the Going-to-the-Sun Road Corridor Management Plan in Glacier National Park.
Public comments are now being accepted through Nov. 6. Park officials say the decision comes in response to public interest and requests that were received during a public meeting earlier in September.
“We appreciate the feedback we’ve received thus far, and look forward to hearing from more people as we develop proposals for transportation, visitor use, recreation experience, and resource protection along the Going-to-the-Sun Road Corridor,” said Glacier National Park Superintendent Jeff Mow.
The plan is currently available for public review and comment on the National Park Service Planning website.
