KALISPELL — A woman and a dog were able to escape a Thursday house fire in Kalispell.
Several fire crews responded to the fire on Stone Crest Drive around 3:30 p.m.
A woman and a dog were inside of the home, however, they safely evacuated.
The house is a total loss, but crews were able to save the garage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
The West Valley, Smith Valley, and South Kalispell fire departments all responded to the scene.
The crews finally cleared the scene at around 8 p.m.
