MISSOULA — Missoula County has established a COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance fund to help those who are struggling to pay the rent after losing their jobs due to the pandemic.
Commissioners signed a contract on Thursday with the Human Resource Council to manage the application process and provide emergency rental assistance to landlords to help renters in this pandemic.
The Human Resource Council, which is managing the county’s COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Fund, received the maximum number of requests on Thursday and is no longer accepting applications.
Staff are currently reviewing these requests and contacting landlords. If more funding becomes available, information will be posted here. Click here for more information.
