MISSOULA — The Zootown Arts Community Center has an artist relief fund.
Artists and performers who qualify will get a $250 grant, and will be featured in a post on the ZACC's social media and website.
To qualify, you need to have participated in any ZACC program in the past 12 years, be based in Missoula, and have had a job opportunity canceled due to the pandemic.
The ZACC says its wants to give back to the artists who make Missoula special.
"We are a thriving artistic place, where people want to visit and see all of our galleries and see all of our performances and see what we have to offer," ZACC outreach coordinator Mikyla Veis said. "And all of those people still live here, and none of them are able to continue their livelihoods right now in the way that they would normally."
Every Friday, two applicants will be randomly selected to receive the grant.
