Power outages reported across Northwest Montana

Due to the high winds, road closures and power outages are being reported by Lincoln County Sheriffs Office.

US Highway 2 is closed on both lanes of traffic at mile marker 89, with no reports of reopening.

There is also a power outage south of Libby south towards Kalispell, with no estimated time to turn back on.

There is also outages north if Shalom along Highway 37.

The Flathead Electric Cooperative outage map shows over 1,800 members without power as of 11:30 a.m.

Additionally, NorthWestern Energy's outage map shows roughly 1,000 people are without power in western Montana.

Missoula Electric Cooperatives site shows an estimated 500 members without power.

The Ravalli County Electric Cooperative was reporting 3,000 members without power.
