POLSON — Two school bonds before Polson voters were denied on Tuesday.

Polson school officials were asking residents to vote on two school bonds to renovate district buildings that were built around half a century ago. The combined bonds cost a total of $61 million.

In a previous interview with MTN News, Polson School District Superintendent Rex Weltz said the money would have been used to update the deteriorating school buildings, address additional safety needs, make the buildings more energy efficient and a build a community center.
