BUTTE - The body of a 42-year-old Butte man was found between two buildings in Uptown Butte on Saturday, Aug. 31, after a report that he had fallen from the second story of a home.
According to Butte-Silver Bow County Sheriff Ed Lester, shortly after 4 p.m. Butte Police, Butte Fire Rescue and A-1 Ambulance responded to the residence on West Park Street.
The man’s body was found between two residences and it appeared the man fell from the second floor.
Butte Police conducted an investigation at the scene. The man's body has been transported to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula for an autopsy and toxicology testing.
The man's name is not being released pending notification of relatives, and the incident remains under investigation.
