MISSOULA – The University of Montana welcomed the families of students to a free Griz football game on Saturday to showcase UM’S facilities.
Hundreds of parents wore maroon and silver for the Griz game against UC Davis and also thronged a ballroom for an invite-only brunch with campus administrators.
The Family Weekend is being overshadowed this year by what university officials are calling a celebration of service where they highlight the generous and selfless acts.
UM is encouraging community members and visitors to partake in charitable activities as well as focusing on the generous acts of IM alumni, faculty and students.
