MISSOULA – Do you miss the days of someone else pumping your gas and taking care of your dirty windshield?
Thanks to Muralt’s Travel Plaza every Wednesday you can revisit those glory days. Muralt’s will offer full service at their gas pumps for no charge on Wednesdays for their Hump Day Help Day.
It’s a nod to the past when Muralt offered the service every day.
“When we started the business — my parents started the business in 1975 — we used to do full service and it’s always been near and dear to my heart. We would do it occasionally for special events and people just really enjoyed it,” owner Walter Muralt said.
“Of course, not everybody wants it but we just thought how can we do a little added service for our customers. For sure there’s people from old school and people just especially when it gets colder, if they know they can come here every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and get full service,” he continued.
“Pump your gas wash your windshields, if they want us to check their oil and check their tires and fill their windshield washer fluid too, it shocks people.,” Muralt concluded.
Muralt’s is located out at the Wye west of Missoula.
