BUTTE – Officials have identified the motorist who was killed in a rollover accident on Homestake Pass in Butte on Tuesday afternoon.
The coroner’s office has identified the victim as Josephine Smiley, 29, of Missoula. She was killed while driving west on Interstate 90 after her pickup truck overturned.
The accident happened at approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday in Jefferson County. Icy conditions were a factor in the crash.
