MISSOULA — Crews were able to quickly contain a Wednesday afternoon fire on the east side of Mount Sentinel.
Firefighters from various agencies collaborated in a mutual aid effort to combat the wildland fire, according to the City of Missoula Fire Department.
The U.S. Forest Service, the Montana Depaertment of Natural Resources and Conservation, the East Missoula Rural Fire Department, the Missoula Rural Fire District, and the Missoula Fire Department "combined their resources and expertise to swiftly contain the fire," a social media post states.
