MISSOULA — Missoula County Public Schools (MCPS) is offering an optional pick up day on Monday at all schools.

MCPS is providing families the option to come in and get their students’ personal belongings.

This time can be used for families and students to pick up personal items from their lockers, pick up instruments, and pick up medications. However, access to classrooms will be granted only if a student has an essential element in the classroom.

There will be no library book checkouts but families will be able to pick up loaner laptops on a first come, first served basis for families who have no access to a computer in their home.

MCPS officials note that people who do not have to school should stay home.
